“I COMMAND YOU - BE STRONG AND COURAGEOUS!” This quote from Joshua 1:9 is the life verse that Rob picked out while in high school. Little did he suspect then, that God was going to bring that battle cry home through some unbelievable situations that would change the course of his life.

Driven by his passion and fresh vision, he connects with the hearts of people using a thoughtful blend of humor, teaching, intensity and challenge. Tales about being in Africa getting chased through the bush in by a rhino, hilarious stories from the road working for a bungee jumping company and sharing the dramatic and emotional story behind his birth have touched many. The search for his identity after learning that he was conceived by rape pushed him on a journey that led him to the true meaning of life and self worth. Because of these life defining events and deep personal convictions, Rob communicates on an intimate level no matter the size of the group.

With his many years in student ministry and time on a multitude of different mission fields around the globe, he has a first person perspective and dynamic insights on outreach and current culture. One of his primary passions is leadership development. Rob is the founder and executive director of GOAL Leadership, a leadership-training program with the vision of equipping and strengthening churches, organizations and individuals to live life at the next level.

The break-up of the family and the lines of morality blurring more and more each day make it imperative to tackle tough topics that hit people right where they live. Rob is regularly asked to speak on such topics as: pro-life issues, abstinence, love/sex/dating, substance abuse, youth culture, politics, leadership, evangelism and missions. Being a versatile motivational communicator, he takes on the hard issues facing our lives and presents a practical, heart felt and relevant response using drama, speaking, music and video.

Rob along with his wife live in Zeeland, Michigan with their 3 daughters.
